Photo exhibition ‘Take a look at the landslide’ is an exhibition open to all participants of the 5th Regional Symposium on Landslides in the Adriatic Balkan Region ‘Landslide Modelling and Applications’ as well as to all other interesting to present their photos. The objective is to present different landslide scenarios around the world. The selected max. 40 photographs with accompanying short landslide stories will be exhibited at Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka, Rijeka (Croatia), 23 March – 15 April 2022.
How to participate
Please submit photographs via e-mail 5.resylab@gradri.uniri.hr or through the Symposium web site www.5resylab.uniri.hr the fulfilled form and send the pictures. Please submit no more than 3 photographs per an author.
File formats
– Landslide photographs (JPG, JEPG, BMP, TIF), min 1024×768 pixels, max 15 MB
– High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable (minimum 600 DPI).
Please do not include a watermark or border.
Deadline: 10 March 2022
Judging
The selection of the winning photos will take place at the end of February 2022, by 3 members of a chosen jury. Every photograph will be judged according to its technical merit and visual power.
Awards
The best three photos will be selected by the Jury. The awards ceremony will take place on 23 March 2022 during the opening ceremony of the Photo exhibition ‘Take a look at the landslide’ at Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka.
Subjects, liberating, intellectual property
By submitting photos you agree to the contest together with the possible publication of the photo and your details (name and last name) both during the Photo exhibition ‘Take a look at the landslide’ at Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Rijeka than publication in other media that is absolutely free and excludes any type of monetary compensation.
The images remain full property of the photographer, who allows to the Photo exhibition ‘Take a look at the landslide’ only the right to unlimited use in promotion of landslide science. Under no-circumstance we will use submitted images for commercial gain. Every author, by sending photos, implicitly declares to have the exclusive rights for publication.
By submitting COPYRIGHT RELEASE FORM every author accepts the rules of the Photo exhibition ‘Take a look at the landslide’.
